Why is Independent Financial Advice Important?

To call ourselves Independent Financial Advisers we have to offer impartial advice from the whole of the market. This importantly involves allowing you to chose how we are paid.
 
This is not the case with all advisers. Some offer from the whole of market but are only paid by commission from the provider, some only offer a selected number of providers and others are restricted to just one.
 
We can be paid by fee, commission or a combination of both and in all instances the amount that we receive for providing our service should be the same regardless of the option you choose. We believe that it is important that it is YOU who makes this decision and that it is not dictated to you.
